Ceramic Industrial Coatings, a leading regional manufacturer of paints and coatings with factories in Osseo, MN and Kansas City, KC, is growing and adding another Customer Service Representative. This is a multifaceted position responsible for all Customer Service functions and internal Sales support. This role is located in Kansas City, KS and reports to the General Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Account Management – Receiving, entering, and processing of customer orders.
- Backup to invoicing activities.
- Personal communication with assigned customers regarding status and details of orders.
- Providing customers with sales and marketing documentation such as customer price lists, contracts, and customer specific project activities.
- Communicating with customers on product enquiries and managing issues, lates, returns, credits, or replacement orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot invoice/shipping issues as needed to ensure prompt and accurate updates/paperwork
- Interfacing with Manufacturing and Warehouse teams to ensure customers’ orders are executed to their satisfaction.
- Actively participate in cross functional teams to improve customer satisfaction, sales processes, and facility performance.
- Responsible to follow all safety procedures and practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3- 5 years of Customer Service experience – preferably in a manufacturing or distribution type environment.
- Hands-on experience with using ERP computer systems for order entry and invoicing.
- High level of competency in using Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Characteristics of high energy, enthusiastic attitude with proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Conflict Management.
- Quick learner, able to retain details and accurately complete tasks first time right.
- Must lead and adapt to frequent changes in work environment & prioritization.
